Today was the last day for our final presentation for Communications.
Everything went well, except that many of them went too fast
We were given 8min to talk to our audience
but most of them finish their speech by 4min 30
dat was way way below the time limit!
haha.
so funny.
den the whole class started to find questions to ask, so that the whole presentation for that person can stretch until 7min +++
cool. we're so united!
i love my AB214 class!

many of their presentation was good today
realli nice listening to them talk
i realli like their ideas
some were too nervous until they needed a 2nd trial
haha.
i din expect such things to occur, but we did it!
onli for our grp i guess. :)
anyway, the tutor started talking abt dis coming friday's test
he literally gave us all the hints
about wad the question was abt, wad genre it belonged to
for example the question is on writing an email to convery a negative message, with elemnts of persuasion, which i suck at it :(
then he also promised that he'll go through the question once before we start, on friday
cos he said he was confused when he read the scenario given
even the tutor is confused. wad about us?!
haha.
but he's so kind to want to go through the question with us
guess we can really score well this time. hehe.

den project mtg for Adv Corporate Finance
lasted until 430pm
havent had lunch
went to LWN lib to find xiaoting to eat with me.
of course, at 430pm, she had already had her lunch
so she jz sat across the table, reading her notes, while i finish my meal

den so many pple in the lib when i reach dere
heard tay chuan & wei shan actually booked the tables
from morning until 5+ when i reach the lib!
heard fom yan han that you need to rush in the moment the lib opens at 830am in order to book seats
haha. cant imagine the flood of pple coming in, when the lib door opens
so kua zhang!
anyway, thanks to my dearest vice-cap for booking the seats for us. muacks!

Last Sat was fun!we celebrated wenting's borthday at Miss Clarityits a western restaurant near national librarynice ambience and fantastic foodesther forgot to make reservationsso we had to hurry finish up our food before the next person who had reserved the table comeso jin zhang! the food came at around 7pm and we're expected to finish eating and settle our bills by 730pm!guess what, we managed to complete the task by 720-725!haha.it was the fastest meal i ever had, when we go out for gatherings. :)after the dinner, we went to tccto sit down, have coffee and chatafter that we sang "Happy Birthday" to wenting outside tccniceden had photos taken at the "I Was Here" sculpture at NAFA.we managed to climb onto the stones and took some picturesbut were soon warned by the security guardhaha.alas, it was home-sweet-home timeso we separated.Sun. came back to school for 2 mtgs9AM. BF322. din discuss muchcos we're more focused on doing our own parts of the report + slidesafter that study in the libden lunch.thank god Youwen, my snr, came to school to studyso she volunteered to buy lunch for all of usthere were YY, Tay Chuan, Suat Wei, Sylvia and Qianyiso many of us. wth. its like a small gathering on a SUN morning in SCHafter that i carried on with my 2nd mtg, until the lib closes at 430pmden went down to can A to study with the restAdeline and Wai Lai came shortly after that.when i was about to leave, Yan Han came to uscos she claimed that SAC was too cold. :)suat wei, who claimed that she's too slpy and went back to her hall earliertoo tired. i mugged until 630pm before i left home for dinner.the rest con't mugging when i leftcool.it was kinda good cos i realli studied hard during that few hours we spent tgtnxt time mz mug tgt again!on a SUNDAY. :)

yesterday was a fun day!haha.went catching crabs with yanru!hahacaught 21 crabs and some prawns too.i was damn lucky yesterdaycos we only reach the SAF Yacht Club at around 730 - 8pm and we stayed until 11+ to 12AMso it was very good to catch so many crabs and prawns within these few hoursAnyway, after catching the crabs, we steamed it on the spothaha.the crabs were very sweet, some saltish cos of the salt waternice.it was the first time i ever eat a crab properlycos it's always my mum who gave me all the claws, or even the meat when she had dealt with the stupid crabsso anyway, i learnt how to shell the crabs MYSELF!haha. nice. but my fingers are in pain, esp when i need to eat the meat from the clawsneed my fingers to pry open the shells before i can eat the fleshthe claws were quite hard, so it was quite difficult to eat, as compared to the bodyanyway, had much fun yesterday!din study too!cos i didn't bring any books home.was locked out of the hse yest, cos i forgot to bring keysand nobody was at home when i returnso i had to come to Tampines.den realise my brother was down with chicken poxmum actually didnt want me to come backcos i had not had chicken pox, and my exams are nearso she's very scared i'll get it too.anyway, i guess tmr, SAT, i'll be returning back to boon laycos i want to studyplus i have a mtg on SUN.so sad. but i kind of love it to go back to schools on wkendscos less people to fight the seats with youi kind of like the isolation and the desertedness of the schoolso peaceful and serene.nice

today is a happy day for me!
cos i had 2 presentations in a row!
1030-1230 i had presentation for research methods
and my prof gave me A!
my next presentation for Communications
got a 3, while the best speaker in my class got a 3.5
so im not that far behind!
so happy :)
how i wish i have such good grades when it comes to examinations
haha.
anyway, after all my presentations
i went to library 2 to meet for group discussion
it was the first time i step into library 2
and its the first time i borrow a red spot book
Red spot book = textbook
haha.
my frens kept laughing at me
cos i look so sua koo
never do such things before
den in the library, found someone actually lock their computers
so they can be sure that no one, except themselves can use the computer until they return!
there is some function within the network which allows you to do so
wow! super cool la! dinno you could do dat
i tot the worst thing is to put some of your belongings on the seat to hog the seats
locking the computer is even cooler
fantastic
wonder when will i learn such techniques. haha.
even though my frens will teach me how to use
i wont rem the procedures for long
cos i simply do not need to do so!
i'll just use the computer until im done with my work
and i'll just leave
if i still need to use my comp, i'll just go home to use it
dun have to be afraid that i wont have a seat in the library
dats the beauty of not staying in hall, and to be able to live so near sch :)

Today went for OST with Xiaoting.
damn tiring cos we did fart-leg (i guess its spelled like dat)
anyway, onli ran 6 rounds in all, with only 2 rounds of sprinting
haha. super nua le!
den after that din do gym workout
cos rushing home to complete on my presentation for Communication
was doing on the topic of 'Raising Awareness of Fitness in NTU'
haha. stupid idea. cos the question is on 'How to improve NTU'
anyway, xiaoting and I went into the new gym to take some photos of it
before that i also went to take a few photos of the old gym.
must contrast ma.
haha.
funny. cos never do such things before. :P
but its fun!
cos i get to make fun of xiaoting, who is so camera-shy!

Today I went to Wensi's hse to get her to listen to my speech for my Communication presentation. She gave some ideas to improve my presentation and she gave some comments, or maybe more on ways that I could personalise my speech so that it becomes more natural when I speak.
She's really a good friend, even though she has tonnes of homework awaiting for her too! Really appreciated her help. I really feel that I can score better after listening to her advice.
It's so fortunate to have such good friends, even though we're no longer studying in the same school. I have always heard from my professors and teachers saying that, friends whom you made in your university are going to be your friends for a lifetime. However, I totally disagree because I still go out with my secondary school and JC friends. I feel much closer to them than when I was with friends I made in NTU, I feel that they are the ones who would be with me for a lifetime.
Anyway, this post is a tribute to Ms Lim Wensi for her kindness.
