today's wednesday. so sad. i wanted to go OST, but i don't have time!!!
got tuition this evening at 7
planned to go for a run with xiaoting after that
cos my session ends at 830
so prob can reach sch at 9 den go for the run until like 10?
budden xiaoting is gg with lili at 6pm.
haiz. dis sem is terrible man!
all my evenings are full of stuff
training and tuition
which means im only left with fri night
but i dun really want to run on a fri night
cos the wkends will be filled with trainings again
and thurs will be running during training too
actually mon is the best time to run le.
haiz sad...
guess i have to start waking up in the morning to go for my runs ba. since my lessons only start in the afternoon
am now mugging in lib 3, the media resource lib
will mug til prob ard 630 before i go give tuition
muahaha. wenting is so shock that im mugging this early of the semester
but no choice le
last yr alrdy
have to really push up my grades to qualify for at least a 2nd-lower honors degree
hope my FYP can really push my grades up too.
taking derivatives this sem
but my frens say it's quite difficult
but some say must depend on the prof too
my prof is ok le. he explains everything quite simply so its easy for us to understand
but i guess my class is just too smart
stressed.
haha. learning mind over stress right now. gotta learn how to manage my stress man!
gotta go mugging le!
have to hand in Mind Over Stress rpt by 27aug
which means 1 day after my AHM
think i'll just die for the run. muahahahaha

yoz! ok. it's early in the morning and i couldn't slp any longer
dunno why. haha. mayb becos i got used to waking up early
esp for trainings on the wkends
yesterday was my grandpa's bday
celebrated his birthday at home
everyone was here!!! so cool
my cousin brought her 3 kids too.
they are so omg. so naughty lor! lol
keep fighting with each other for toys
and the 2nd son keep wanting to buy some more toys. haha
and when you don't agree to him, he'll just cry.
the youngest is worst. keep crying. couldn't stand it. haha
hide myself in the room with my computer. :)
it was nice to gather once again
the food is good, cos my aunt bought some of it from some Zhi Cha stall near her workplace
but i was too tired. din even feel like eating lor
haha.
today's is the start of the CCA booth
haiz. nobody inform us which time slot we're suppose to go down le
the worst thing is... i put down my nam for all the time slots that im free
which means from now til 1230
and they said wadeva time slot u sign up for, u'll have to come down for that time slot
but this isn't what we're told the last time le
suppose to put in all the time slots we're free den they'll choose isn't it? as long as there are 4 pplr for each time slot, then it's fine.

anyway, still slacking at home, writing this blog entry now
haha. wonder what happens to the booth
i wonder if i shld go early to have a look. but i also dunno where the hell the booth is located

ok. just attended my 1st lesson of the week
derivatives. the prof is damn cool can!
he explains everything like very simple like that
budden got a lot of readings to do la.
guess its not so easy after all
and he always ask a lot of questions on class
and my class is really smart can!
always seem to know the right ans... diaoz
damn stress
always like that de le. my class is always filled with smart ass
except for me
haha. gotta buck up man!
onli the 1st class and i alrdy felt the pressure increasing..

dis wkend 9haz wanted a pot-luck gathering
but dunno who's hse to go to.
hopefully Ms Wenting can help us get her condo's function room
this potluck thingy has been raised for a very long time can!
but nobody seems to care much abt it...
its really getting more and more difficult to organise gatherings
so far, its only me who kept this thing going.
gotta buck up!!!

ok. just looked through NTU imall to check out the books that im suppose to buy
got a few with quite reasonable price, but there are some which the edition has changed to a newer one
not sure if its ok to buy the older edition
gotta ask prof this coming friday

haha. gg to Ms Cheng Qianhui's hse at eunos to celebrate, tgt with Ms Cheung Hoiman
she doesnt seem to be in a good mood tho
cos yesterday we were trying to arrange a meeting time and place
and she sounds frustrated cos her tutee wants her to give her tuition today
and she's quite angry that she has to accomodate to her student everytime, i guess
still, she agreed to meet us dis evening
gonna have fun!!! muahaha
watch national day parade at home, eating pizza and having titbits

ok. here's an update of the new week
sch starts on mon
haha. had to bring grandma to see eye doctor, so cant personally do my add-drop
asked xiaoting to do it for me
she's damn fast la!
i only had a non-core elective before this
but she added for me 3 more modules
and some of them are really very hot, like derivatives
cool.
im taking 5 modules this sem
quite siong, i would say
cos 2 core modules, 1 psy, 1 prescribed el, 1 general el
but ok la. anyway, my results aren't affected by the no. of modules i take cos it's always fluctuating at ard B
diaoz. never seem to improve my grades.
guess i really have to put in more effort into my fyp, and hopefully i can get an A for it
of not my honours degree sure die
yesterday had the 1st land training
quite siong too. but i guess its because everyone is not used to running so much after a long break
everyone feels weird when we're doing our run
i guess as time goes by, everyone will get better
except for me... im always so behind them. omg.
26aug is coming soon!!!
it's the army half marathon --- 21 click can!!!
damn shitty.
still dunno if i shld go sign up for standard chartered
cos the 42 click run is really like once in a lifetime thing
early bird special ends on 12aug

and they even had injuries due to the run, like leg sprains, muscle pull
im like not even close to their standard. dun think im suitable to join the run yet
but everyone is so hyped abt joining!!! though they're afraid too

rebonded my hair today at kimage hairdressing school at funan IT mall
sat there for 6hrs 10mins, to be exact
hahaha
cos my hair is too layered
but i just wanna keep my hair straight, cos it tends to curl here and there, very frizzy too
but its really nice la.
to let students do ur hair
seeing them learn the skills and grow up
the girl who did my hair was named Jing Jing, from china la
though she very S L O W but i can sense her sincerity
she really tries to do her job well but there is some lack of enthusiasm and eagerness ba
i mean not everyone can sit there for 6 hrs and 10mins straight you know...
but i guess everything turns out fine. haha. you'll know when u see me
and i paid $70 onli! including treatment
muahaha. super good la. cos they charge me $55, the lowest rate for rebonding cos my hair is not too long
their rebonding charges is only btw $55-$75
so its super worth it. i mean Kimage le!!!
in the end, for the sake of my hair, i pon lesson again
but i guess its ok, since this is only the 1st wk
hehe.
but it still feels weird, starting sch without attending for the 1st lesson
cos normally 1st lesson will split into groups to do project le
but so far so good.
ok. promise to turn up for lesson on friday k
at least must show up for 1st lesson, to let the prof know that you exist. haha

ok. here's an update
grandma suddenly complains that she feels giddy and she couldn't see properly
brought her to A&E dept at sgh yesterday
but the doctors couldn't find anything wrong with her
even had blood test taken for her
was recommended to see eye doc
and this morning just brought her to the eye centre for checkup
the doctor over there says it might be due to cataract, which causes her blurring of vision
so, arranged a date on 11/9 to be operated
had to come back for body checkup on the 29/8.
they say its most prob due to cataract that she couldn't see properly
other than that it seems fine
must wait until her cataract is removed then they can determine what's wrong with her
the eye doc also couldn't be certain if its her blurring of vision which causes her headache and dizziness, or the other way round
all in all, we just have to wait for her to go thru the op
been tired these two days
cos been running up and down the hospitals.
gotta rest more!
missed jay chou's tea party yesterday cos had to accompany grandma to the doc
sad. but still ok. cos Mingboon went and she complained that she could only see half of jay chou's body
cos he's simply too short! muahaha
going to watch the Simpsons movie with Hoiman tonight :)
my frens say its very funny.
cant wait to go watch it!!!
it'll be a break from all the things, and for me to relax and enjoy b4 sch starts
just checked my mail and i found out we need to pass a test, which i cant rem
the nbs dean said they had reviewed the curriculum structure to be more inlined with the expectations of the MAS.
the test was scheduled on a saturday!!!
and we must pass the test no matter wad. sad. if i fail it this sem, gotta take it the next sem.
