today's another sucky training.
lagged behind the team during the run, as usual.
haiz. very demoralizing cos i was doing quite well last sem
been wanting to keep up my level of fitness but many things occur
first was exams. i din go for self-trains for the entire period
next, standard chartered run. after the run, my leg is in serious "recovering mode"
then, shoulder joint inflammation. probably due to pool rowing cos ah hee wants us to pull as fast as we can. of course, the water resistance in the swimming pool is greater. i just anyhow wack. then gym session also try to push for heavier weights. that's why y joints finally gave way.
now, it's my stomach. been laosai-ing for many days already. always felt like vomitting during the runs
but i think it's getting better, though im not sure what causes it.
the symptoms started ever since tuesday, after i had lunch at cafe cartel with my fren.
How do you check if you're having food poisoning?? LS? Vomit?
then got scolded by snr during the run...
she said it's not fair for the others when they are fighting so hard for a seat in the boat while im not
which i think its true..
thou i know it's the truth, it's still hurting me
i want to be with them! but sometimes my mental strength is still not there to translate my desire to actions
maybe my mental strength is not strong enough. its always the saying. "Mind over body"
but i wonder how true it is.
maybe its true for ppl who are already up there. wads left is their mental strength which differentiates the champion and the runner-up
but for me, who is not even up there, training up my body is definitely the first criterion which i must achieve before i can call in my mental to support my actions
anyway, i'll first start with training up my body.
thurs ran outside sch for 2 rounds.
i think the pace is too fast for the current me, and my fitness level is not there yet
after the slope, my right leg muscles is very suan -- to the extent that it somehows feel painful to run
very sorry to ashley who accompanied me during that run.
was slowing down her by a lot!!
gotta be with the team!
gotta set a good role model for juniors!
gotta fight for a seat in the PM boat!

here's another update. i am certified with joint inflammation on my left shoulder
i think its cos of yesterday's weight training
my grp did all the stations that need to use hands.
bicep, clean & jerk, upright row...
den i so stupid
cos i dun wan to queue to do the weights, i went to do 15kg of biceps
haha. i think that's wad aggrevate my shoulder's condition.
was damn hurting when i went to slp yesterday night
went to see sch doc after class today
the doc is damn scared of me
haha. keep reminding me, "no more db activities and weights training for 1 week"
i just keep nodding my head, as usual. ahha
Wednesday
i went to donate blood for the first time
the needle for bld transfusion is damn big la
looks scary when the nurse insert it into my arm
but it's ok cos got anesthesia
and my blood flows damn fast can!
those who were suppose to be infront of me were not done yet when im already done with my pack
the nurse quite cute
she took my blood pack and place it near my hand, saying, "say goodbye to your blood"
it feels funny and weird. cos the blood pack is real warm.

Today's the 1st day of training after sch starts.
not say today sucks totally, but a bit 力不从心.
think its cause of my mensus. super tired.
ran peaceful road 2 rounds.
i started to lag behind even when its only the beginning part
it's so "oh my god"
had stitch on my right abdomen
somewhere just below my lungs
super pain, even when i breathe
even more pain when i go down slope
it's not the 1st time im getting this kind of pain
i think it's because i didn't control when i go down slope
i just let my body run on its own
shake too much of my body... maybe
that's why it's so pain
super sucky. then at the end of the training
tay chuan made us form into groups to think of goals that we want to achieve
one of the groups said, "to train until we can run as a team"
i was thinking... they're referring to me man!
oh my goodness. gotta do something about it
actually, i was improving
just before exam period
i was surprisingly able to catch up with the team, sometimes
haha
but during exam period... as usual.. i slack off and fitness drops
then stand chart marathon
leg pain. cannot join the rest for runs during trainings
fitness drops even more... it's like 1.5 to 2 mths never run
only started running during the training camp
the feeling of ur fitness level dropping sucks totally ok!!!
after 1 yr and when ur glad ur finally keeping up with the rest, and then 1 exam period and BOOM!
ur back to where u r when u first came in
Argggggg
tried going for ost once, at bedok reservior
though i know my leg is still not tired, but my lungs are not catching up with my pace
just like last time, always can't seem to breathe properly. stamina...
gotta run more...
faster, quicker.
